Yeah, there are tons of real estate folks out there. I read somewhere that 1 in 5 US households either contains an agent or has a relative who is an agent (and 1 in 4 has one who knows Kevin Bacon http://www.cs.virginia.edu/oracle/)
How do you pick one for an investment transaction? I always recommend tall guys named Dave with an MBA. This article also offers some useful tips. They're talking about a residential transaction, but it applies to commercial and investment, too.
